Die-Cut Foam Packaging

At Marko Foam, we specialize in building custom dies to create fabricated-foam packaging for your products. Die-cutting entails stamping out custom shapes using various types of steel rule tooling and high- tonnage die presses to ensure dimensional accuracy. Our die-cut protective packaging is ideal for sensitive, fragile products such as medical equipment and pharmaceutical materials, electronic components, consumer goods, automotive products, industrial supplies and office equipment. It provides shock absorption, ESD control, blocking and bracing.

At Marko Foam, we use die-cutting to create made-to-order fabricated-foam packaging solutions. Fabricated foam enables fast turnaround times and lower costs when shipping low- to medium-volumes. And it’s versatile, easily integrated with other materials such as corrugated paperboard. Our fabricated-foam packaging is created through manual assembly. The foam is wire- or die-cut to size, then glued and assembled (or "fabricated").

Marko Foam stocks a wide variety of material, including all grades of the Military series polyethylene (which meet the A-A-59136 and PPP-C-1752 specifications), as well as all grades and densities of MIL-P26514 polyurethane. Our diverse material inventory also includes:

  • Flexible Polyurethane (Polyether & Polyester)
  • Polyethylene Plank
  • Polyethylene Roll Stock
  • Crosslink Polyethylene (Sheet and Roll Stock)
  • EPP / EPE Molded Polypropylene and Polyethylene Plank
  • Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Block
  • Plastic Corrugated
  • Anti-static, Conductive ESD, Polyurethane and Polyethylene Foams
  • Specialty Engineered Foams (Wicking, Scrubs, Filtrations and Reticulated)
  • Thermal Silicone Foams (Thermal management is a critical component in ensuring the reliability and proper operation of electronic and electromechanical equipment.)
  • Flocked Foam (A unique, distinctive velour covering that creates a great impression for your product.)
